Features of this one-of-a-kind vintage Persian runner rug include:
- Heriz region, circa 1930 semi-antique
- Rare teal to deep sea field (background) & gorgeous multicolored bindings
- Hand-knotted and dyed with natural vegetable dyes
- Soft, low-medium wool pile on a cotton foundation
- Abrash (highly sought after color variation in handcrafted wool rugs due to the small batch dyeing process and natural aging in older rugs)
- Narrows to 3'2 and shortens on edges to 13'7
Due to the vintage and handmade nature of our rugs, there may be imperfections, repairs, and signs of wear that lend character and are not considered defects. Our rugs are woven by hand and may not be a perfect rectangle. Colors may vary based on your screen or home lighting. I try to photograph each rug as accurately as possible in daylight, but please be aware that they will look different in low light. I’m always happy to send photos in lower lighting upon request or answer any questions you may have.
