Blue Spinel Quartz from Madagascar

Blue Spinel Quartz is a fascinating new material from Madagascar. It features a brecciated Quartz or Granite-like matrix, ranging in color from white to smoky, with gemmy zones and spot-like inclusions of blue Spinel. The material, which closely resembles K2 Afghanite, has primarily been available in hearts, spheres, standing free forms and points, making it a unique addition to any collection.
