General Description
Madagascar yields some of the best Smokey quartz polished products in the world. The material ranges from optic to more cloudy material with veil or other internal characteristics. The clarity and transparency is generally top quality with the colour ranging from gentle pale Smokey to substantially darker tones and even morion and pure black Quartz. You do have variables; internal veils, wispy or rainbow optic features between pieces. Quartz must be by far the most variable item in terms of pricing as many factors impact its value.
